Time does move skyline,
Embraced by wrinkle of hour,
One has been here,
Treading under foot in circular,
Moments reflected by broken asphalt.
City hold no sleep for us now,
The weary left by the curb,
Caught in the moment,
Hands to face,
Older today.
This second felt by passing vehicles
Homeward,smoged clouds beneath
Stifled Los Angeles afternoon,
To not die here,today,
My Lord-
By ruined industrial skyscraper beautified,
The lifeline not my tragic father's mistake.
Lead the heart to governance stride,
Onward the presence of night city streak,
Gleaming on the horizontal lore,
The story of this,
Bleed the veins of a presence,
To only shake the head of thought,
Of a soul to endure,
Time does move the skyline.
